Planting a seed
Whatever you do today, will have a minute or large impact on your future depending on what that action was. Journaling 5 minutes a day might seem like a very small thing to you right now, but in the long run, it could avoid hypertension from all the overthinking going on in that big bulky brain of yours.
Maybe the book you are reading today doesn’t make sense to you right now, but the values you learn from it or the habits you develop will certainly change the future. It is true, you are the ones that shape your future. The person smoking today can’t blame anyone but themselves for lung cancer, he might blame it to fate, comparing himself to a fellow smoker who is still fine, but in reality we all know what caused the consequence.
Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? The simple act of a butterfly flapping its wing may be the start of a tornado that will go on to kill thousands and destroy everything in its path.
Your destiny lies in your own hands, no one else can shape it but you. There might be a conflict between those who think this and those who believe in fate, but the thing is, even I believe in fate. It all works in harmony with each other, there must always be balance to everything in this universe, that’s where the yin and yang took birth, balance.
There is good, and there is bad. There is enough bad in good to turn them into a bad person and there is enough bad in the good to turn them into a bad person. Of course the terms bad and good are based on perspective and opinions, but you get my point.
We’ve all shaped our fate, take this for an example, you can’t blame the gods for giving you back pain when it was you who sat like a banana everyday, it is your own doing. But you can blame it on fate when you get stabbed by a stranger for no reason, it all works out in harmony. Your karma comes into play here, or maybe it is simply just misfortune.
All you can do is think positively. A person who thinks they can and a person who thinks they can’t, both of them are usually right. Yes I understand that your partner cheated on you or dumped you for no absolute reason and I also understand that you’re very hurt right now, but if you become a bitch because of this, that’s on you.
It might not be your fault, but it is your responsibility, you are the one in charge of who you become. Some people after break ups become better than who they were, they turn their entire lives around, turn the negative into positive whereas some decide to become even more bitter, they become the things that they hated. It is up to you who you wanna be, the choice is always in your hands, it’s a matter of free will and who you are.
Use all the negative energy to plant a seed that will bloom into a tree of cherry blossoms, giving everyone a sense of peace and serenity. Turn into a tree that will protect others from the sun and rain, there won’t be a difference if you turn into those who hurt you.
Be yourself, Love yourself.
Have faith,
Praise God.
With love and gratitude,
Harshit.
